Superfast broadband, often referred to as fibre to the cabinet, has been available for some time, offering download speeds of 64-80Mbps and upload speeds of 19-20Mbps. Additionally, Swish Full Fibre is now available (I think to most properties in the village) through Swish Fibre Ltd, providing speeds up to 900Mbps for both uploads and downloads.

Shops

There are no shops in the village. Nearby are the village post office shops in Burton Leonard and Marton cum Grafton, or more extensive shopping in Boroughbridge and Knaresborough.
